On June 12, 2025, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) suffered a major outage that rippled across the internet. Popular services like Spotify, Discord, Snapchat and others reported widespread failures, as did Google’s own Workspace apps (Gmail, Meet, Drive, etc.).
